MEET MIKE ODIOSO

State Representative Mike Odioso has always been called to service. As a husband, father, educator, community leader, and conservative activist, Mike has spent years giving back to our community and fighting for causes he is most passionate about.

Mike graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1981. He went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati in 1985 with a degree in History and the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1988, later completing a Master of Education from Mount St Joseph University in 1999.

Mike is recognized as a leading local high school educator with a deep background in law.

Through his community activism and volunteer work on many conservative causes, Mike has developed key contacts throughout Green Township, Hamilton County, the Ohio State Legislature, Governor’s Office, Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, and the Ohio Federal Congressional Delegation. Mike has also served as guardian ad litem in Hamilton County Juvenile/Dependency Courts.

 

Mike returned to public life after raising his daughter, Audrey Marie Odioso, who was born with developmental disabilities. Mike and his wife Leslie Odioso have broad appreciation for the gifts Audrey received from Hamilton County - Butler County Boards of DD, and the State of Ohio’s Department of DD before she passed on June 5th, 2015.

On November 5, 2024, Mike received 68.8 percent of the vote and was elected to represent the 30th District in the Ohio House of Representatives. He took the oath of office on January 7, 2025. As a member of the 136th General Assembly, Mike serves as the Vice Chair of the Education Committee and is a Member on the Judiciary Committee, Child and Human Services Committee, and Energy Committee. ​

 

Mike’s immediate family includes his wife of 33 years Leslie Odioso, and his three children, Audrey (deceased), Lauren, (age 27), Lucas (age 22). Mike and Leslie currently live in Green Township.
